Thank you for your interest in our Visiting Artist Program.
The members of SevenArts are pleased to offer this opportunity to area artisans to show their work in our intimate and beautiful gallery setting located in the Maine Grind Building, at 192 Main Street, in Ellsworth. We currently have one month or two-week time slots available, and hold monthly juries, so artisans can feel free to apply at any time.
SevenArts is a centrally located retail gallery in downtown Ellsworth, an area fast becoming recognized for its local edge and creative opportunities. Our space in the Maine Grind Building offers great foot traffic and visibility as potential customers coming for coffee or to hear music/events at Shangri-La space upstairs continually stop by to see what's new and enticing in our shop.
The members of SevenArts are committed to enlivening the arts community and supporting fellow artists. We hope many area craftspeople, artists, and artisans will take part in our Local Artisan Gallery. We offer a complete range of space rental fees and commissions - and hope there's a financial model that works for you. We welcome your feedback on this and invite you to help us develop our model. We are in the process of exploring how we will retail ourselves on online, and plan to include our visiting artists in our chosen mode of ecommerce, so stay tuned.
